This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who has proven automotive experience, is GM qualified, and holds ASE certifications.Earn $60,000-$120,000+ per year, depending on experience, qualifications, productivity, and performance.If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving complex automotive problems, and want to build your career with a dealership that values its technicians, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoAs a Transmission Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and service vehicle transmission systems while ensuring repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair automatic and manual transmission systems.Perform transmission inspections, repairs, rebuilds, and replacements.Diagnose drivability and transmission-related concerns.Use diagnostic equipment and technical resources to accurately identify issues.Complete repairs according to GM specifications and manufacturer guidelines.Perform quality-control inspections to ensure repairs are completed properly.Maintain accurate repair orders and communicate findings with Service Advisors.Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship.Stay current on GM technical information, procedures, and repair standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a highly skilled technician with demonstrated experience working on automotive transmissions and drivetrain systems.Required QualificationsVerified professional experience as an automotive technician, with demonstrated transmission repair experience.GM Qualified Technician.ASE Certified.Strong knowledge of automotive transmission and drivetrain systems.Ability to accurately diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical concerns.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to pass a background check and drug test.Why Work for Jerry Seiner?At Jerry Seiner Dealerships, we've proudly served our communities since 1980.
