About the Role:
Join Qualicare Home Care Central NJ as Live-in caregiver, where you will provide compassionate support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients while enjoying a flexible and fulfilling work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support.
- Administer medications and manage health monitoring as needed.
- Prepare meals and assist with nutritional needs to promote health.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Prior experience in home care or a similar caregiving role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including live-in shifts.
