POSITION: Chicago Campus Communication Graduate Assistant DEPARTMENT: Chicago Campus REPORTS TO: CEO Chicago Campus HOURS NEEDED PER WEEK: 10 HOURLY RATE: $17.05/hour DATES OF EMPLOYMENT (APPROXIMATE): August 2026-May 2026, plus future semesters if applicable OPEN TO: Graduate Students PRIMARY PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY: The Chicago Campus Communications Graduate Assistant supports the development, coordination, and assessment of student communications on behalf of Chicago Campus staff and faculty. The Graduate Assistant will draft and distribute student-facing communications, coordinate communication across multiple platforms, monitor campus communication channels, and help maintain an organized communication calendar. The Graduate Assistant will also track student engagement with communications, including email open and read rates when available, to help identify communication trends and opportunities to improve how the Chicago Campus reaches and engages students. The position works collaboratively with campus staff, faculty, and university partners to ensure communications are timely, accurate, consistent, student-centered, and aligned with university brand and identity guidelines.
