On-Call Catering Delivery Driver

Pay: $14.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement

Position Summary

The Catering Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and professionally delivering Chick-fil-A catering orders to homes, businesses, and other locations. This is a flexible, part-time, on-call position. Drivers will be contacted when catering deliveries are available and may choose whether or not to accept each assignment.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time, on-call position with a flexible schedule.
• Drivers will typically receive at least 24 hours' notice when a delivery opportunity is available.
• Drivers may accept or decline individual delivery assignments based on their availability.
• There is no guaranteed number of hours or delivery assignments per week.
• Delivery times and locations will vary depending on catering needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport catering orders using your personal vehicle.
• Deliver orders accurately, professionally, and on time.
• Transport catering orders into businesses, homes, event venues, and other locations.
• Carry catering orders into buildings and navigate stairs when necessary.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers upon delivery.
• Assist with setting up catering orders at the delivery location when requested.
• Assist the catering team with packing and organizing catering orders when needed.
• Ensure catering orders are complete and organized before leaving the restaurant.
• Assist with loading and securing catering orders in the vehicle.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for catering deliveries.
• Must be able to safely transport catering orders in a personal vehicle.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and carry catering orders into buildings, including using stairs when necessary.
• Must be dependable and able to arrive on time for accepted delivery assignments.
• Must be able to work independently while following Chick-fil-A catering procedures.
