Position: Prep Team Member

About the Role:
- As a our Prep Team Member, you will play an important role in preparing fresh ingredients and supporting the kitchen team to ensure every meal meets Chick-fil-A’s high standards for quality, safety, and speed. This role focuses on food preparation, organization, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment so our team can serve guests efficiently and consistently. Prep Team Members help ensure that all ingredients and products are ready for service, contributing to a smooth and successful kitchen operation each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes and portioning standards.
- Keep prep areas clean and organized.
- Support the kitchen during peak hours.
Other Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and assemble food items while following quality, safety, and speed standards.
- Assist with beverage and dessert preparation.
- Ensure all products meet Chick-fil-A’s brand, culture, and excellence standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the, kitchen, storage areas, restrooms, and dining spaces.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Help with opening and closing tasks as assigned.
- Communicate clearly with team members and leaders.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Experience:
- Kitchen or prep experience a plus.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods (4+ consecutive hours)
- Light lifting (up to 25 lbs.) for restocking and cleaning duties
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently
