The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and reporting functions, including leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role demands the production of SEC-ready financial statements and disclosures, the establishment and maintenance of SOX-compliant internal controls, and serving as the primary contact for external auditors, advisors, and regulators. The ideal candidate will have a background in energy storage, renewables, infrastructure, utilities, or power markets, and experience with long-lived assets, complex revenue recognition, and structured finance.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for those who have served as a Controller at a public company or have direct IPO experience. The role also requires deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, as well as a proven track record in project finance and tax equity accounting. The candidate should be a CPA with a Bachelor's degree in finance, and possess strong leadership skills to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing accounting team. Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, and a background in a fast-paced, capital-intensive environment are essential.
