The Chief Actuary is responsible for leading the organization's actuarial function, including the analysis of financial risk, development of pricing strategies, and oversight of reserve adequacy. This role ensures that actuarial practices support the company's financial stability, regulatory requirements, and long-term strategic objectives. In addition, the Chief Actuary will partner closely with IT and other stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain a centralized data warehouse that consolidates enterprise data. Responsibilities include assessing business and actuarial data needs, evaluating and selecting vendors, supporting system implementation, and ensuring ongoing functionality and usability for the actuarial department. The role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making across the organization.
