Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the company business plan targets and department key metrics in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Management and Environment as assigned. 
  • Develop and maintain a professional and effective organization through selection, training, development, and motivation of all assigned personnel. 
  • Conduct and ensure the completion of performance reviews on a timely basis. Coach and counsel Associates in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Direct immediate subordinates in their assigned functions to ensure that their responsibility to attain objectives and satisfactory operation and performance is met in a way that is consistent with established policies and procedures. 
  • Delegate responsibilities and appropriate authority to department personnel to maximum efficiency, through proper use of skills, manpower, machines, and equipment. 
  • Develop, supervise, and maintain own department in order to attain the company objectives and the scope of the business plan. 
  • Maintain necessary control to keep expenditures within budgetary limitations. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Ensure the use of proper safety devices, equipment, and methods. Maintain a constant awareness of and take corrective action on hazardous conditions and practices. 
  • Ensure an effective line of communication to all department and section managers at all times. 
  • Prepare periodic reports or other data for presentation to the Plant Manager, and / or President, indicating record of achievement on established goals, recommend improvements and personnel requirements. 
  • Support the environmental policy and objectives and be aware of the department’s job function has on the environment. 
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and the company quality policy and be aware of the importance of department activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives. 
  • Support quality sorting. Assembly or other areas, as required.
  • It is an essential function of this position that Associates be on the worksite in person to perform their job duties throughout each scheduled work week because TSIN operates most effectively with the kind of teamwork, personal interaction, and supervision that simply cannot be had in a home office situation. 
  • Must be able to utilize customer specific portals and databases as they align with the above duties. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Accounting or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Purchasing, Production Planning, Inventory Control, or Manufacturing Operations.
  • 3–5 years of leadership or management experience leading teams.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of all accounting practices and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous Honda supplier or Honda manufacturing experience is a plus.
