Chief Brand Officer

Collins Community Credit Union (CCCU) is seeking a bold, strategic, and purpose-driven Chief Brand Officer (CBO) to join our Executive Leadership Team. This is not a traditional marketing role.

The CBO will shape how CCCU shows up in the world — defining and delivering a brand that connects deeply with our members, communities, and employees. This leader will align brand, culture, technology, and growth strategy to expand CCCU’s impact and position as a trusted financial partner.

The CBO is a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership, bringing market insight, member intelligence, and disciplined strategy to drive sustainable growth across all markets.

Key Duties

• Develop and lead CCCU’s enterprise brand and growth strategy aligned to our purpose, values, and strategic priorities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on market trends, member insights, and competitive positioning.
• Lead go-to-market strategy for existing and emerging markets.
• Own the annual brand plan, budget, and ROI framework with clear performance reporting to executive leadership and the Board.
• Drive disciplined growth by prioritizing high-impact initiatives and eliminating low-value efforts.
• Lead a comprehensive brand evolution to position CCCU as a differentiated, values-driven financial partner.
• Establish and enforce brand standards across all channels and touchpoints.
• Build a distinctive voice and visual identity that reflects CCCU’s community focus and trust.
• Drive bold, integrated campaigns across digital, community, and traditional channels.
• Monitor and continuously improve brand health using data, feedback, and market insights.
• Design strategies that deepen relationships, increase product adoption, and turn members into advocates.
• Lead segment-focused growth strategies (e.g., military, first responders, educators, underserved communities).
• Build and scale a market-based business development function.
• Strengthen Select Employer Group (SEG) partnerships and identify new growth opportunities.
• Use data (NPS, CSAT, behavioral insights) to improve the member experience and remove friction.
• Deliver lifecycle marketing programs aligned to key financial moments.
• Oversee the digital marketing ecosystem (SEO/SEM, paid media, website, email, social).
• Lead evolution of marketing technology, including CRM, analytics, and automation platforms.
• Build a performance-driven marketing culture with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Technology and Operations to ensure a seamless, brand-aligned digital member experience.
• Leverage data, AI, and automation to improve targeting, personalization, and efficiency.
