Chief Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale networking solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. This role requires deep expertise in cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, network security, traffic engineering, and high-availability architecture within complex multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience designing and implementing highly available, fault-tolerant cloud network architectures, including multi-region, multi-Availability Zone (AZ) deployments, resiliency patterns, disaster recovery strategies, and automated failover solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing and managing hybrid cloud connectivity using AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, and Megaport services, including provisioning and support of Virtual Cross Connects (VXCs) for secure private connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments. The candidate will also be responsible for implementing VPC and VNet peering, hybrid networking solutions, and multi-cloud integrations.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in network traffic management, including ingress and egress routing, path selection, routing optimization, and high-availability network design across distributed cloud environments. Experience deploying and managing cloud-native load balancing solutions such as AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Application Gateway is required.

This role requires hands-on experience deploying and managing virtual firewall solutions and Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs), including Palo Alto VM-Series, Cisco CSR 8000v, and native cloud security controls. The candidate should have a solid understanding of AWS Security Groups, Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs), Network Access Control Lists (NACLs), access control frameworks, network segmentation, and compliance-aligned security architectures.

Required Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Cloud Network Engineering, with responsibility for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based network infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing and implementing highly available and resilient cloud network architectures, including failover, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with advanced AWS and Azure networking services, including Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, load balancing, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Minimum 4 years of experience implementing and supporting Megaport services, including VXC provisioning, private cloud connectivity, and hybrid/multi-cloud networking solutions.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in network traffic engineering, routing optimization, network segmentation, firewall deployment, NVA management, and secure connectivity design.

Required Certifications

Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications:

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
