Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to lead all estimating operations for a commercial and civil construction firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage all estimating activities for commercial and civil construction projects
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid packages, and proposals
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents
- Coordinate with project managers, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Analyze and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Monitor market conditions, material pricing, and labor costs
- Mentor and develop estimating staff
- Support business development and client relationship initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of construction estimating experience
- Chief Estimator or Senior Estimator experience required
- Strong experience with commercial and/or civil construction projects
- Proficiency with estimating software
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
