We are representing a nationally established leader in inpatient rehabilitation seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its Desert Canyon hospital in the Las Vegas market.
This is a full hospital leadership position with responsibility for approximately 50 beds, an average daily census of approximately 40 patients, and 10–12 direct reports.
The CEO will have ownership of the hospital's overall operational, financial, clinical, and strategic performance while leading an experienced multidisciplinary executive team.
The Desert Canyon facility is located in the Summerlin/suburban Las Vegas area, offering an attractive location within one of the country's fastest-growing metropolitan markets.

Job Details
The Chief Executive Officer will serve as the senior executive responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the Desert Canyon hospital.
This individual will oversee the hospital's operational strategy, financial performance, clinical outcomes, employee engagement, patient experience, regulatory compliance, and market development.
The successful candidate should be an established healthcare leader capable of operating at both the strategic and operational levels. While candidates from strong post-acute environments may be considered, the preferred background is a hospital-based CEO or COO with demonstrated operational success.
Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership for all hospital operations, strategy, financial performance, and clinical support functions.
Lead and develop approximately 10–12 direct reports across key hospital departments.
Maintain accountability for hospital P&L, budgeting, operational metrics, and overall financial performance.
Partner with clinical leadership to maintain strong patient outcomes, quality standards, and patient experience.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives designed to strengthen census, referral relationships, and market position.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, organizational policies, and quality standards.
Recruit, retain, develop, and hold accountable a high-performing hospital leadership team.
Build strong relationships with physicians, referral partners, employees, patients, and community stakeholders.
Qualifications
Significant healthcare leadership experience within a hospital, inpatient rehabilitation, post-acute, or comparable healthcare environment.
Hospital-based CEO or COO experience strongly preferred.
Candidates with skilled nursing or post-acute leadership backgrounds may be considered when they demonstrate substantial tenure, operational complexity, and proven success.
Demonstrated responsibility for healthcare operations, financial performance, employee leadership, and organizational growth.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary department heads and senior healthcare leaders.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory, quality, operational, and financial requirements.
Bachelor's degree required or strongly preferred based on applicable organizational requirements.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field preferred.
