Role Philosophy
The CFC is not expected to personally perform every accounting, HR, tax, or administrative function. Rather, the CFC is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and accountability for these areas while leveraging qualified internal team members and external professional advisors.
The ideal candidate is a strategic financial leader who enjoys being involved in the business, understands the details, when necessary, but focuses primarily on helping the company make better decisions, improve performance, manage risk, and grow successfully.
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Controller (CFC) is a key member of SpringDot’s executive leadership team and serves as a strategic financial partner to the CEO and leadership team. The CFC provides financial insight, planning, and guidance to support the company’s continued growth, profitability, and long-term success.
The CFC will have broad leadership oversight of finance, accounting, planning, and related administrative functions. The role will also provide guidance and coordination regarding human resources, tax, insurance, compliance, and risk management, utilizing internal staff and outside professional resources as appropriate.
