Kforce has a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Chesterfield, MO. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial leadership across the organization, aligning financial strategy with business objectives and long-term growth plans
  • Oversee all accounting, finance, and reporting functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations in accordance with US GAAP and applicable regulations
  • Lead the preparation, review, and interpretation of complex financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements, management reporting packages, and executive-level analyses
  • Develop and oversee robust financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning tools to support decision-making and scenario analysis
  • Compile, review, and distribute a daily executive dashboard, delivering timely visibility into key financial and operational metrics, trends, risks, and performance indicators
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership, board members, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure strong internal controls, risk management practices, and accounting policies to maintain financial integrity and audit readiness
  • Partner with operational and department leaders to evaluate performance, improve profitability, and drive efficiency across the organization
  • Lead cash flow management, capital planning, and liquidity strategy to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives
  • Oversee external relationships including auditors, banks, investors, and advisors, serving as primary financial liaison
  • Build, develop, and mentor high-performing finance and accounting teams, promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and leadership development
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements to scale financial operations and improve data accuracy and timeliness

Requirements:

  • CFO experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Developed project management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
