Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Hospice
An exceptional opportunity awaits with our client, a leading organization in the hospice care sector. We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. This role is ideal for an experienced finance leader with expertise overseeing multi-state operations within private equity-backed healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to drive organizational growth and performance.
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and forecasting processes across multi-state operations.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, audit, tax, and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with senior executives to evaluate new market opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Structure and implement financial systems and best practices to maximize operational efficiency.
- Present financial reports and relevant insights to C-level stakeholders and private equity partners.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid, state regulations, and other external financial requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and key partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience within the hospice or broader healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated background in multi-state healthcare financial management and regulatory compliance.
- Prior experience in a private equity-backed organization, preferably healthcare.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop and implement robust financial controls and processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
