The Chief Financial Officer is a key player in a community bank. This goes beyond bean-counting and numbers crunching. This is a role with a true community-focused bank – high energy and intent are a must! This position oversees a myriad of banking departments, subject to change based on the expertise of the candidate. This role will oversee many operations duties.  

CFO Requirements

• 5+ years in the banking industry, ideally within the accounting department
• Operations experience
• Investments experience
• Auditing background
• Leadership experience
• Degree in financing or another business field

CFO Responsibilities

• Typical management responsibilities
• Prepare, determine, and approve all types of payments
• Review accounts
• Investments
• ACH Department functions
• Oversee/develop the implementation of different systems and activities
• Answer questions and troubleshoot issues daily
