Merrimack Health is currently offering a sign-on bonus for Chief Fireman roles, with the amount depending on scheduled hours. Full-time positions are eligible for an $8,000 bonus.

Under the direction of the Director, theChief Fireman-2nd Class is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of power plant boilers, pumps, auxiliary equipment, and water filter systems. Schedules for power plant coverage 24/7 as required by state law.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The person in this position is required to hold a Massachusetts 2nd class Engineering License and sign all the necessary operating logs and all regulatory compliance reports, including but not limited to, DEQE, EPA, DEP and risk insurance agencies.
