Chief Growth Officer
Location: Rockville, MD



The Chief Growth officer will lead a team of individuals with primary business development responsibilities, while also conducting their own business development activities from deal identification, qualification, and capture to proposal development and submission. Duties include:
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development plan.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including qualifying deals through stage gates and identifying and implementing strategies leading to the submission of proposals with a high win probability.
  • Engaging with and coaching our client's business development team to improve company-wide business development efforts and results.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
  • Providing regular reports and updates on growth performance to other members of the executive team.
  • Advising the executive team on enterprise booking targets and strategies to achieve them.
  • Serving as a key member of the executive team and contributing to the overall direction and strategy of our client.
  • Establishing and developing strategic relationships with other industry partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of executive-level business growth experience.
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and win revenue-generating contracts.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to make difficult decisions.
  • Ability to communicate, present to, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including listening, negotiation, and presentation.
