Our more than 30 programs throughout the district provide comprehensive services that lead to mental and physical health, continued sobriety, job training, living-wage employment, and affordable housing. Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The salary range for this position is $168,376.00 to $178,289.28 and may be commensurate with experience.
Position Description: The Chief Housing Development Officer provides executive leadership for the planning, development, and execution of the organization's housing development strategy. Leads the development of multifamily transitional and affordable housing, including single-room occupancy (SRO) housing, apartment communities, and senior housing, while also overseeing the acquisition, development, and redevelopment of non-residential properties that support the organization's mission and strategic growth.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; This is a hybrid position. Up to 3 days in-office per week; Some flexibility is required for external meetings with the community, etc.
Required: Bachelor's Degree, 5 years of experience in housing development, 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Preferred: Master's Degree, 10 years of experience in housing development, 10 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift to 30 pounds. Must be able to travel off-site using his or her own transportation methods. Requires looking at a computer screen for several hours a day. May be required to sit for long periods. This position may be active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
