The City of Henderson announces an examination to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Chief Labor Negotiator in the Citys Department of Human Resources.

Under limited direction, partners with the Human Resources Director and the Human Resources Management team to provide senior leadership across the department; oversees the employee and labor relations functions, serving as the chief negotiator in collective bargaining with employee unions; advises City leadership on complex labor and employee relations matters, while fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented culture built on trust, transparency, and mutual respect; and performs related duties as assigned.
Note:
Pursuant to the Henderson City Charter, this is an unclassified position not covered by the City of Henderson Civil Service Rules. This means that the incumbents employment is at-will, and may be terminated with or without cause or notice, at any time by the incumbent or the City.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive Salary Range of $122,833.74 - $187,294.13 annually; salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidates qualifications as well as internal equity*
Base Wage increase upon successful completion of Initial Probationary or Qualifying Period
