As a member of the Executive Team, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) oversees the clinical operations, quality, and strategic direction of Philadelphia FIGHT's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). The CMO manages all aspects of clinical operations, including patient care, medical research, and health outcomes, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and healthcare guidelines.
In addition, the CMO develops and implements new protocols, supervises medical staff, and oversees the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of physicians and other healthcare professionals. CMO's also manage their assigned budgets and collaborate with other executives and quality assurance to align clinical strategies with organizational goals.
