A leading healthcare organization is seeking an accomplished Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing and clinical services within a respected inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This executive leader will play a critical role in driving patient care excellence, improving operational processes, strengthening workforce engagement, and ensuring regulatory readiness while partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership team.

Job Details

Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for nursing and clinical operations
Oversee Nursing, Education, Dialysis, Respiratory Therapy, and Clinical Dietitian services
Lead and develop nursing leadership, including Nurse Managers and Nurse Supervisors
Drive patient care quality, safety initiatives, and clinical excellence programs
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements
Lead operational improvement efforts and implement sustainable process changes
Manage staffing strategies, workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
Monitor nursing quality indicators, patient outcomes, productivity, and operational performance metrics
Develop and execute nursing department goals aligned with organizational objectives
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across all clinical departments
Prepare the organization for accreditation surveys and regulatory inspections
Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development efforts throughout the nursing organization
Participate in executive on-call responsibilities and organizational leadership initiatives
Partner with senior leadership to drive hospital performance and patient satisfaction outcomes
