Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Nursing Officer-Primary Care to lead, optimize, and scale our primary care service lines. This individual will be responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, quality outcomes, and growth across a multi‑site primary care footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for primary care clinic operations, including access, staffing, workflows, and patient experience
- Drive performance across quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, productivity, financial goals, and value-based care initiatives
- Partner with clinical leadership to support operational excellence, population health strategies, and coordinated care delivery
- Lead and develop regional and site-level operational leaders while fostering continuous improvement and accountability
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, operational scalability, and growth initiatives, including new services and clinic expansion
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, grant, and laboratory requirements, including CLIA and NCQA standards
- Utilize data and analytics to support decision-making, quality improvement, and organizational strategy
- Participate in senior leadership activities, strategic planning, and organizational committees supporting quality, risk, and safety initiatives
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing required
- 5+ years of healthcare operations experience, with significant leadership in primary care or ambulatory settings
- Demonstrated success managing multi‑site physician practices or large clinical operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and performance optimization
- Strong experience with managing nursing and related clinical teams.
- Proven ability to lead through change and drive operational transformation
- Background working closely with employed and/or independent physicians
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
- A current, active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
