Chief of Staff

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and ambitious Chief of Staff to join their founding team. This high-impact, generalist role works directly alongside the CEO to drive the company's most critical priorities. Our client requires a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is capable of navigating ambiguity without a fixed playbook. The successful candidate will take ownership of diverse initiatives ranging from fundraising and financial modeling to GTM strategy, operations, and product development. Our client expects the individual in this role to build scalable systems, execute with speed, and act as a key partner in shaping the future of the organization. Critical requirements: 1-3 years of experience at a top-tier firm (e.g., Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or equivalent high-performance environment Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software and financial modeling Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on-site in New York City High agency with a strong bias toward action and independent problem-solving Proven ability to handle high-integrity, confidential, and reliable tasks Important requirements: Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects Ability to draft professional investor updates and internal briefs Comfortable working with minimal direction in an early-stage startup environment Nice to have: Prior experience in FinTech or InsurTech Background in AI-native technology companies Direct experience in insurance or financial services Experience in operational analysis and process automation
