Chief of Staff, Office of the COOPosition OverviewAvenues Recovery Center is seeking a highly motivated, and execution-oriented Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer. This individual will serve as a trusted right-hand partner to the COO, helping translate strategic priorities into action and driving execution, accountability, and alignment across the organization.This is a highly visible, hands-on role at the intersection of strategy, operations, analytics, and leadership. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver and project leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates effectively with autonomy, and knows how to move complex initiatives forward across multiple teams and stakeholders.Location: Corporate Office in Lakewood, NJ About Avenues RecoveryAvenues Recovery Center is a growing nationwide network of addiction treatment centers providing evidence-based, individualized care across multiple levels of treatment. Our continued growth is driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, operational innovation, and building strong teams that make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with the COO to drive execution of key strategic and operational prioritiesTranslate high-level objectives into clear action plans, owners, timelines, and measurable outcomesLead complex, cross-functional initiatives across corporate departments, facilities, and leadership teamsTrack key commitments and deliverables, drive accountability, and proactively identify risks or roadblocksManage the flow of priorities, information, and decisions within the Office of the COOAnalyze complex business and operational issues and develop concise, data-driven recommendationsPrepare executive communications, presentations, strategic updates, leadership materials, and stakeholder briefingsFacilitate executive meetings, strategic planning sessions, operating reviews, and cross-functional working groupsEstablish effective agendas, decision logs, and follow-up processes to ensure initiatives continue moving forwardIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, organizational structures, processes, and operational effectivenessBuild and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reporting across operational, clinical, and financial areasConduct root-cause analysis of operational challenges and partner with leaders to implement solutionsBuild strong relationships with corporate and facility leadership and gather frontline insights to inform organizational initiativesTravel to facilities as needed to understand operations firsthand and support key prioritiesQualificationsBachelor's degree required5-8+ years of experience in consulting, healthcare operations, business operations, corporate strategy, private equity, investment banking, or another highly analytical and execution-focused environmentDemonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects from strategy through implementationExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsStrong project management and organizational abilities with excellent attention to detailExcellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skillsAbility to synthesize complex information and present clear, actionable recommendationsStrong business judgment and ability to operate independently in ambiguous situationsHigh emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organizationHighly accountable, proactive, and results-orientedComfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing organization with competing prioritiesThe Ideal CandidateYou are a strategic thinker who is equally strong at execution.
