NeighborHub Health is seeking a thoughtful, highly organized, and mission-driven Chief of Staff to the CEO to help advance our work of serving the community with compassion, care, and strong organizational leadership. Job Overview
The Chief of Staff to the CEO serves as a trusted partner to the Chief Executive Officer and supports the coordination, execution, and follow-through of key organizational priorities. This position helps organize executive initiatives, prepare leadership and Board materials, coordinate cross-functional projects, track accountability, and ensure the CEO is equipped with timely information for decision-making. The role requires strong judgment, discretion, communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a healthcare and nonprofit environment.
What you'll do
- Partner with the CEO to organize, prioritize, and move forward high-impact organizational initiatives.
- Prepare executive briefings, presentations, reports, dashboards, talking points, and decision-support materials.
- Coordinate strategic planning activities, leadership meetings, Board preparation, and follow-up actions.
- Track major projects, milestones, assignments, risks, deadlines, and outcomes across departments.
- Support communication between the CEO, executive leaders, Board members, community partners, funders, and internal teams.
- Manage or support CEO calendar priorities, travel logistics, executive correspondence, and confidential records.
- Conduct research and analysis to support special projects, growth opportunities, partnerships, and organizational priorities.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, organizational leadership, or related field required.
- Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in executive administration, healthcare administration, project management, strategy, operations, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple departments required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity platforms required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills required.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, public administration, or related discipline preferred.
- Experience in an FQHC, community health center, nonprofit, public health, or healthcare environment preferred.
- Experience supporting a CEO or senior executive preferred.
- Project management certification such as PMP or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with strategic planning, Board governance, quality improvement, or healthcare operations preferred.
- Knowledge of HRSA, UDS, FQHC, value-based care, and healthcare regulatory environments preferred.
