Summary

Assigns warrants, attend meetings, assist staff. Assist outside agencies and departments when requested. Purchases material and equipment for warrant department.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a clean record free of any arrest and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have a minimum of two years experience in supervisory management. High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Texas Peace Officers license, valid Texas drivers license with an insurable driving record. Must be insurable by agency insurance carrier.
Knowledge, Skills and/or ability
Must have a broad knowledge in court proceedings and processes, collections techniques, and customer service. Must have working knowledge of computer programs an office procedures. Computer knowledge, common sense, Texas penal code, code of criminal procedure, and supervisory and management knowledge. Knowledge of collections/accounts receivables, working with automated collections systems.
Operate computers; read reports, letters, and memos; communicate effectively, both in person and over the phone; and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and other law enforcement personnel. Operate vehicle, police radio, learn proper terminology for communicating with LE communications personnel, and time management skills. Need to have the ability to multi-task on tedious exacting work with a high level of accuracy.
