Chief Operating Officer
Location: Allen, TX preferred | Hybrid | Relocation to the Allen area within six months required
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $200,000 base salary | Opportunity to earn $300,000 or more in total compensation
Special Strong is an adaptive fitness franchise serving children, adults, and veterans with disabilities. We have
35 operating franchises, 48 sold franchises, and 90 total territories across 20 states. We are adding
3 to 6 new franchises per month and scaling toward
100 operating franchises in 2027.
We are looking for a proven operator to improve franchise performance, build a strong leadership team, and prepare the company for a
potential strategic partnership in 2027 or 2028. This leader will guide Special Strong through its next stage of growth and beyond
What you will own
•
Improve unit economics and performance across the franchise system
•
Lead senior executives with clear goals and accountability
•
Build a reliable operating rhythm, scorecard, and financial reporting
•
Develop the systems and leadership bench needed to scale
What you bring
• At least five years of senior leadership experience
• Direct responsibility for a business with multiple locations and its profit and loss results
• Proven results through franchisees, independent owners, or other operators you do not directly manage
• Experience leading executives, managing budgets, and reporting results to owners, investors, lenders, or a board
• Based in the Allen area or willing to relocate within six months
Franchise leadership, EOS Integrator experience, scaling from roughly 25 to 100 locations, and transaction experience are especially valuable.
Compensation and benefits
$200,000 base salary with the opportunity to earn $300,000 or more in total compensation, including a performance bonus and transaction bonus. Relocation assistance, paid time off, and flexible work-from-home options are also available.
