About the Opportunity
Our client is an established premium consumer brand with a strong heritage of innovation, performance, and authentic community connection. As the business enters its next phase of growth, they are seeking a strategic Chief Operating Officer to partner closely with the CEO in scaling the organization while preserving the entrepreneurial culture that has fueled its success.
This executive will oversee the financial and operational health of the business, driving enterprise-wide strategy, organizational alignment, and operational excellence across a complex omnichannel business.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape and execute long-term business strategy.
- Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and business performance.
- Drive profitability, inventory optimization, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
- Provide executive oversight of operations, supply chain, sourcing, logistics, planning, and customer operations.
- Build scalable systems, reporting, and organizational processes to support continued expansion.
- Foster cross-functional alignment across Finance, Sales, Product, Planning, and Operations.
- Develop organizational structure and leadership capability while maintaining an agile, founder-led culture.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner on major business decisions, balancing growth with operational discipline.
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of executive leadership experience within consumer products, apparel, outdoor, sporting goods, lifestyle, or adjacent industries.
- Demonstrated success leading both finance and operations within a growing omnichannel organization.
- Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, inventory planning, margin optimization, and business analytics.
- Experience overseeing global supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Proven ability to scale organizations within entrepreneurial or founder-led businesses.
- Executive presence with exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Passion for premium consumer brands, outdoor, or active lifestyle industries is highly preferred.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
$225,000 - $250,000 a year
