A bit about us:

As a California corporation focused on designing and fabricating bus shelters, outdoor advertising displays and street furniture to meet the needs of public transit passengers, government agencies/municipalities and the out of home advertising industry. Our Company’s first contract was to produce 300 bus stop shelters in the San Diego market.

Since its founding, we've outgrown two manufacturing plants and now operates out of a 53,000 square-foot company-owned facility in Corona, California. We remain focused on the design and fabrication of transit shelters for bus stop waiting areas, outdoor advertising digital and static display kiosks, solar bus stop solutions and related outdoor structure public space amenities to meet the needs of its clients across North America

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a background in Metal Manufacturing to join our leadership team. As the COO, you will be responsible for driving the company's operating capabilities, implementing robust operational systems, and leading critical strategic initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the quality of our products while ensuring optimal performance and profitability. This position requires a professional with a solid background in welding, public transportation, and dealing with Government Municipalities.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all departments.
2. Develop, implement, and manage operational systems that promote synergy within the organization.
3. Drive the company's strategy and its implementation, ensuring alignment with short and long-term objectives.
4. Collaborate with management to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel.
5. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the organization.
6. Ensure that all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
7. Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company, providing solutions and process improvements.
8. Work closely with other executives and team members to ensure the company's operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
9. Oversee risk management and legal activities: client contracts, partnership agreements, lease agreements, and other legal documents.
10. Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations, government municipalities, and public transportation entities.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in the Metal Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven track record of effectively leading an operation comprising a large team to desired results.
3. Deep understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT.
4. Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development.
5. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, with strong decision-making skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
8. Proven experience in process improvement and operational performance.
9. Experience in dealing with Government Municipalities and Public Transportation entities.
10. Extensive knowledge and experience in welding processes, techniques, and safety measures.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
