**Job Summary:**
The Chief People Officer at The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. serves as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals. This position focuses on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention at all levels, overseeing various HR functions to create a positive workplace experience.
**Responsibilities:**
- Strategic Human Capital Planning: Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop people strategies supporting the growth and mission of The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Design and execute recruitment and retention plans to attract and retain qualified providers and staff.
- Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance the organization's culture and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, HRSA health center program requirements, and organizational policies.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefit plans aligned with the organization's goals.
- Employee Relations & Development: Lead employee and labor relations, performance management, training, and leadership development programs.
**Qualifications:**
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 7-10+ years of senior HR leadership experience, particularly in healthcare or community health settings.
- Certifications: SHRM-SCP or SPHR strongly preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving organizational change and innovation. Understanding of FQHC regulations, cultural competency, and experience working in underserved communities.
**Physical Demands:**
Requires periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Significant job stress may be associated with the position. Evening work may be required.
Salary - $100k - $110k
