The Chief Officer of Programs (CPO), in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, will oversee the functions of the organization. On a day-to-day basis, the CPO leads, manages, and coordinates the work of multiple program areas and is responsible for ensuring successful cross-coordination between program areas and with other departments within the agency. The CPO is a skilled manager with experience and confidence to provide executive level leadership.
The CPO position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborates with other leadership staff to achieve our vision of transforming Mississippi, defeating child abuse. The CPO will utilize data collected from members to improve services and membership support.

Completes other duties as assigned. Is a self-motivated professional to meet the day-to-day functions of the agency.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in business, human resources, human services, legal, or health related field with experience working with training, community outreach, and group interaction. Must have excellent human relations skills within a management setting; able to skillfully handle problems and create an atmosphere of team building; possess excellent communication skills; be able to arrange and conduct meetings or training activities; be able to negotiate an array of diverse organizations and individuals; present information to various government and non-profit entities; and administer duties in a positive and supportive manner.
Specifically:
Salary range is commensurate with experience. Generous leave, health, retirement, and other benefits. Office is located in Jackson, Mississippi. Full-time telework is not available for this position. The selected candidate must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening process.
