    Description

    Summary

The Chief Revenue Officer is responsible for building and leading Potomac's revenue organization.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO will align sales leadership, business development, distribution strategy, and revenue operations to drive growth across our Broker-Dealer, RIA, TAMP, and strategic partner channels.

This is a hands-on executive leadership role for someone who has successfully built, managed, and scaled high-performing sales organizations. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational rigor and knows how to create accountability, visibility, and consistency across a revenue team.

The CRO will oversee Internal Sales, External Sales, and Revenue Operations while partnering closely with Marketing, Key Accounts, Portfolio Management, Operations, and Compliance. The position was specifically established to unify these functions under one leader and drive scalable growth.

    • Own revenue, AUM/AUA growth, retention, and sales performance objectives.
    • Develop and execute a growth strategy across Broker-Dealer, RIA, platform, and strategic distribution channels.

Lead and Scale the Sales Organization

    • Lead, manage, and hold accountable internal and external sales teams to ensure they achieve their set KPI’s and sales goals.

    Partner Across the Business

    • Work closely with Marketing on demand generation and go-to-market strategy.
    • Collaborate with Portfolio Management and Product teams on product positioning and advisor education.
    • Partner with Operations and Client Service teams to create an exceptional advisor experience.

    • Experience selling through Broker-Dealer, RIA, custodian, platform, or wirehouse channels.
    • Familiarity with HubSpot or comparable CRM ecosystems.
    • Experience helping scale a growing organization.

Potomac is not your typical asset manager. We cut through the industry BS with brutal transparency and an obsession with execution. If you’re looking for a slow pace and low volume, this isn’t for you.

If you want to drive, build, and scale, this is your shot.
