Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. A minimum of five to nine years of engineering experience to, include in surveying practices, permitting, designing, budgeting and development, or preparation of infrastructure projects. Experience in real estate transactions regarding eminent domains and commendations along with understanding of survey practices and right-of-way dedications/verifications is desired

This supervisory role is responsible for the administration and management of a wide range of Public Works and Transit infrastructure projects, including survey operations, earthwork, asphalt, pavement markings, drainage, concrete, roadway lighting, traffic signals, landscaping, environmental enhancements, bridges, and culverts. The position oversees the implementation of complex, multi‑funded projects and provides leadership to a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, field inspectors, and administrative support staff.
Key functions include resolving construction‑related issues, coordinating with internal departments, responding to public and management inquiries, and representing the Department at public involvement meetings throughout project development and execution.
