Position is available in El Segundo California.Fun stuff you will do on the jobEngages with developers to evaluate software simulators engineering units and hardware simulators through integration activities.Leads technical requirements development systems engineering and oversees development contractor to develop design produce integrate and test space systems.Oversees payload integration and interface control management.Performs system integration of multiple efforts to integrate complex space systems ground segment integration and deployment into operations.Manage and negotiate interface control documents with external stakeholders.Performs systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition interface definition design interface management data architecture development systems integration performance analysis lifecycle cost analysis & estimation decision analysis and development and refinement of communications concepts of operation.Oversees requirements verification and validation.Makes program risks assessments and provides actionable recommendations to the chief engineer and program manager.Independently collaborates with Government program office representatives FFRDC SETA and contractor personnel. Qualifications This is youBachelor of Science and eighteen 18 years or more experience Masters and sixteen 16 years or more experience or an additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of Bachelors degree.Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TSSCI and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination.Experience with space systems development integration andor operations of DoD or other Agency NRO NSA NASA etc..Experience leading systems engineering teams focused on integration of complex space andor ground systems. Target salary range 200001 - 240000.
