The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) leads the organization's technology strategy within a healthcare environment, driving innovation and ensuring technology initiatives align with clinical, operational, and business goals. This role partners with executive leadership and clinical teams to enhance patient care, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the healthcare technology strategy in alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee all technology functions, including EHR, HIE, telemedicine, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
  • Identify and implement emerging healthcare technologies to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with executives, physicians, and clinical teams to prioritize technology initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Manage the technology budget and vendor partnerships.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (advanced degree or healthcare IT certifications preferred).
  • Senior technology leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and healthcare systems.
  • Experience driving innovation in EHR, digital health, data analytics, or telehealth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.


Compensation: $250,000 to $300,000 annually
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
