UNC Department of Psychiatry – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Division
Location: Butner, NC
Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week), Fixed-Term Faculty Appointment
The UNC Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and young adults. This faculty position will be based at UNC’s new Youth Behavioral Hospital in Butner, NC, with opportunities to work on either the adolescent inpatient unit or the young adult unit.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE/40-hour per week) position with a minimum of 50% inpatient clinical responsibilities and the opportunity for up to 100% inpatient practice. Outpatient responsibilities may include both in-person and virtual care. Faculty will also participate in the education and supervision of fellows, residents, medical students, and other healthcare trainees.
