Salary: $350,000 - $450,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are a premier behavioral health organization providing comprehensive psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and families across inpatient, outpatient, and integrated behavioral health settings.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists may build a practice centered on outpatient care, inpatient treatment, or a combination of both. Depending on the clinical program and patient needs, potential hybrid flexibility may also be available.

You will work alongside therapists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, nursing professionals, educators, care coordinators, and administrative support teams. The goal is not to make the psychiatrist responsible for every clinical, social, family, school, and operational challenge personally. The goal is to surround patients—and physicians—with the right team.

You trained for years to understand complex psychiatric conditions in developing minds. You should not have to spend the rest of your career practicing rushed medicine while simultaneously functioning as scheduler, case manager, insurance negotiator, and professional inbox archaeologist.

If you still love helping children and families but no longer love the system surrounding the work, this opportunity may deserve a closer look.

Why join us?
  • Compensation ranging from $350,000 to $450,000, with additional incentive opportunities based on experience, schedule, responsibilities, and practice model

• Choose the clinical setting that fits you best, with outpatient, inpatient, or blended Child and Adolescent Psychiatry opportunities
• Potential hybrid flexibility for follow-up care, consultations, treatment planning, and other responsibilities that can be performed effectively through telepsychiatry
• A practice model that protects clinical judgment, allowing treatment decisions to be driven by the child’s needs rather than an inflexible template
• Protected administrative time for documentation, family communication, record review, treatment coordination, and collaboration with schools or outside providers
• Strong multidisciplinary support, including therapists, psychologists, advanced practice providers, social workers, nursing professionals, and care coordinators
• Meaningful appointment structures that allow time to understand the patient, family system, developmental history, and clinical complexity
• Family-centered care without leaving the psychiatrist to manage every family need alone, supported by clinicians who understand the broader treatment environment
• The ability to shape your practice around specific age groups, diagnoses, clinical interests, treatment settings, and areas of expertise
• Administrative support for scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and routine operational needs, reducing the number of nonclinical tasks competing for your attention
• Collaborative care across disciplines, creating better continuity for patients whose needs extend beyond medication management
• Leadership opportunities in program development, clinical education, supervision, quality initiatives, or medical direction
• The resources of an established behavioral health organization, combined with opportunities to influence how programs and services continue to develop
• A comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, professional development, and time away from work
• A sustainable way to perform meaningful work, because caring deeply about vulnerable patients should not require sacrificing your own well-being

Maybe you have accepted that Child and Adolescent Psychiatry means overloaded schedules, endless family messages, fragmented school communication, limited therapist access, and documentation that follows you home.

Some complexity is part of the specialty. Unnecessary chaos does not have to be.

Your current organization may need you. But does it consistently provide the time, resources, flexibility, and clinical support you need to do your best work?
