Child Care Operations Manager

We are seeking a visionary and goal-oriented Operations Manager to join our team in North Texas. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Complete all weekly/monthly reports requested.
• Manage/Supervise assigned staff on daily operations and performance.
• Lead and motivate team to achieve objectives and milestones
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact team success
• Oversee the development and implementation of child care management processes and best practices
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the child care team
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• Ensure compliance with contractual and program requirements - Ensure a positive customer experience for all internal and external customers
• Conducts human resource responsibilities such hiring, coaching, disciplining (when appropriate) in coordination with the corporate HR team and Employee Relations Director
• Oversees hiring of team members to include consistent onboarding and training
• Sets SMART goals for team members that align with contract, funder and Equus goals/objectives
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills
• Analyze child care performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement
• Collaborate with the Project Director and Project Accountant for budgeting, forecasting, and to ensure financial sustainability and success.
• Work in partnership with the Project Director on planning and overall day-to-day operations/program development/Contract management/Human Resources/Staff Development/Business Development.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor''s degree in business, management or human services related field from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2 to 3 years'' experience in TANF programs.
• 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to customer focused service delivery systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong management and organizational skills, and the ability to work across all levels of management and staff.
• This is considered a driving position and as such your driver''s license must be in good standing and you must have proof of valid automobile insurance.
