Interact with children, supervise activities, assist lead teachers with implementing curriculum, mealtimes, classroom cleanliness/organization, sanitization, guiding children in creative play, parent interactions, etc. for youth in early childhood programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in CUSD as a high school student
AZ IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, if over 18 years of age
CPR and First Aid
AZ CBC background check
Desire to increase knowledge of Early Childhood Education
Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated adequate verbal and written communication skills as related to job function
Ability to obtain transportation to and from worksite without district involvement

Gain hands-on experience planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons across cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language domains
Strengthen skills in intentional teaching, observation, assessment, and individualized learning
Learn effective classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior, independence, and emotional regulation
