CLASSIFICATION: STUDENT WORKER
JOB TITLE: STUDENT WORKER - KIDS EXPRESS ELEMENTARY AGE
Job Goal:
Interact with children, supervise activities, assist lead teachers with implementing curriculum, mealtimes, classroom cleanliness/organization, sanitization, guiding children in creative play, parent interactions, etc. for youth elementary age
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in CUSD as a high school student
- AZ IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, if over 18 years of age
- CPR and First Aid
- AZ CBC background check
- Desire to increase knowledge of Early Childhood Education
- Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
- Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated adequate verbal and written communication skills as related to job function
- Ability to obtain transportation to and from worksite without district involvement
Learning Outcomes:
- Gain hands-on experience planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons across cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language domains
- Strengthen skills in intentional teaching, observation, assessment, and individualized learning

Physical Requirements:
