POSITION SUMMARY:

 ThispositionisresponsibleforprovidingskilledchildcaretochildrenwhoenrollatKidsCare Plus.The Teacher will implement daily activities that promote learning, independence, and social interactions.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Provideskilledchildcaretotoddlersandchildrenagedtwothroughtwelveyears.

·        ReinforcelessonspresentedbytheLeadTeacherbyreviewingmaterialwithstudents one-on-one or in small groups.

·        Teachsimpledrawing,painting,craft,andlanguageskills(e.g., songs)

·        Activelyparticipateinrecreationalplay andteachingactivities.

·        Engagewithchildrenbyapplyingknowledgeofchildhooddevelopment,including learning behavior and physical, mental, and emotional         development.

·        Maintainopencommunicationwithparentsand caregivers.

·        Observeandmonitorchildren’splayandinteractive activities.

·        Instructchildreninhealthandpersonalhabits,suchaseating,resting,andtoilethabits

·        Assistinginpreparingandservingchildren’smeals,snacks,or beverages

·        Attendingtothehygienicneedsofthechildren(includingchanging diapers)

·        MaintainMSDEyearly COKclock hours.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Beat least19 yearsofage

·        Haveahighschool diplomaor equivalent education

·        90clockhoursor equivalent ofapprovedearlychildhood coursework

EXPERIENCE:

·        Haveatleastone(1)yearofexperienceworkingwithpreschoolersinan approved setting

·        Three(3)hours inADACompliance

·        Nine(9)clockhoursofapprovedtrainingincommunicatingwithstaff,parents,andthe public

·        Havedependabletransportation
