Childcare Assistant for School-Age Child

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Assistant to support our childcare center in San Jose, CA. You will work alongside the Site Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of our program, meeting various contractual obligations and MAOF standards. Your main responsibilities will include supervising and guiding staff, assisting with new teacher orientation, collecting lesson plans, and ensuring the assessment of children. You will also participate in meetings, report submissions, and recruitment activities, while maintaining clear communication with the administrative office. The ideal candidate will hold a Site Supervisor Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and have at least two years of relevant administrative experience. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred, along with CPR, First Aid, and Health & Safety certifications. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, focusing on delivering quality childcare services for a 7-year-old child in a pet-free environment.
