Teacher Assistant – Part-Time

Little Dreamers Daycare LLC – North Muskegon, MI

Little Dreamers Daycare is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our amazing teaching team!

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
1:00 PM–5:00 PM
Approximately 20 hours per week
Additional hours may be available as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

● Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines

● Provide attentive, active supervision to ensure children’s safety

● Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, art, music, and outdoor experiences

● Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, handwashing, and rest time

● Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom

● Follow all daycare policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures

● Communicate respectfully with children, families, and other staff members

● Help create a positive, nurturing environment where every child feels safe and valued

Qualifications:

● Must be at least 18 years old

● High school diploma or GED required

● Must be dependable, patient, kind, and able to work well as part of a team

● Must be comfortable caring for children of different ages

● Must be able to complete all required background checks, trainings, and licensing requirements

● Must be able to lift and carry children and remain active throughout the shift
