Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and flexible Support Staff member to assist throughout the center. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children of all ages and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The Support Staff (Float) helps classrooms run smoothly by assisting teachers, covering breaks, and supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in classrooms as needed
Provide coverage for staff breaks and absences
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
Support children’s daily routines (meals, transitions, activities, etc.)
Engage positively with children through play and interaction
Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and daily tasks
Follow all licensing and safety regulations
Work collaboratively with all staff and administration
Step into different classrooms and adapt as needed
Qualifications:
Experience working with children (preferred but not required)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexible and able to adapt to different age groups and classroom needs
Ability to meet state licensing requirements
