Discovery Point Hamilton Mill is seeking a reliable, hardworking team member to serve as both our Bus Driver and Cook. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values safety, and takes pride in preparing nutritious meals.


Responsibilities


Transportation

• Safely transport children to and from local elementary schools and field trips.
  
  
• Conduct daily bus safety inspections.
  
  
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of children.
  
  
• Keep the bus clean and well-maintained.
  
  
• Follow all Georgia childcare transportation regulations.
  
  

Kitchen

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks following CACFP guidelines.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
  
  
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
  
  
• Properly store, label, and rotate food.
  
  
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
  
  

General

• Assist with other center duties as needed.
  
  
• Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  
  
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with children, families, and coworkers.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 
  
  
• Must pass Georgia Bright from the Start background check.
  
  
• CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  
  
• Previous driving, food service, childcare, or school experience is preferred.
  
  
• Dependable, organized, and able to multitask.
  
  
• Strong commitment to child safety.
  
  

Schedule

• Full-Time
  
  
• Monday–Friday 7:00-4:00
  
  
• No evenings or weekends.
  
  
• Additional hours available during school breaks and summer.
