We're searching for a dedicated and reliable cook to prepare nutritious, kid friendly meals and snacks for our children, while maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. Must pass Background/Fingerprints Check.
Responsibilities
- Meal Planning, preparing and serving meals to young children .
- Food safety ensuring food is prepared and stored according to guidelines.
- Maintain inventory and place food orders as needed.
- Accommodate children's dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Kitchen maintenance includes cleaning, sanitizing, removing trash, organizing groceries, preparing food orders, menu planning,ordering menu supplies.
- Attractive Food Presentation
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook in a license childcare or school setting.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Knowledge of child nutrition and food safety practices.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and work independently.
- Must pass background check and meet state/federal and locate license requirements.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
