Join Our Team at Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy!
We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Childcare Cook who is passionate about preparing nutritious meals for children in a safe, clean, and caring environment. Work schedule 6:30am-3pm, with 30 minute lunch break.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a childcare cook or chef
- Must be familiar with USDA/Food Program policies and guidelines
- Knowledge of meal planning, portion sizes, and nutrition requirements for children
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks daily
- Maintain accurate food program records and documentation
- Follow all USDA/CACFP guidelines and center policies
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance
- Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
