We are a licensed childcare center seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education.
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! Preference for applicants who have worked in a childcare or school setting.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 4:00pm
Compensation: $17-19 per hour based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing nutritious well-balanced meals, that meet food program requirements for items served.
- Oversee the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen.
- Manage monthly inventory on non-food items, such as cups, plates etc. as well as all food items needed for the food service order; disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply order to appropriate areas of the building.
- Request items within budget for additional equipment needed to help maintain the kitchen and mealtimes on track and turn in request to the Center Director.
- Assist in the classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being an additional support resource.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
