 Lead Teacher 
Kid's First Parma Heightsis a licensed childcare center seekingLeadTeachersto supportthe following age groups:
Toddlers 

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, 1 year of experience, and the ability to pass all background checks. 

Required Shift:Monday - Friday, full time
Compensation:$14 - $17/hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process: 
  1. Resumescreen
  2. Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
  3. On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes)
    1. Q&A 
    2. Classroom observation 
  4. Offer  

Main Job Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
  • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently. 
  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family toprovidequality care for the children.
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintainingan organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. 
  • Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
  • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
